Overview
CH20 is an austenitic stainless steel casting alloy covered by ASTM A743/A743M, designed for use in high-temperature, corrosion-resistant applications. With a nominal composition of 25% chromium and 12% nickel, CH20 provides strong resistance to oxidation, sulfidation, and other forms of high-temperature attack. This alloy is well-suited for components exposed to thermal cycling and elevated temperatures, such as those found in furnace hardware, petrochemical processing equipment, and heat exchanger systems. CH20 is commonly selected for its ability to maintain mechanical strength and structural stability in demanding thermal and corrosive environments.
