Overview
CH20 is an austenitic stainless steel casting alloy designated under ASTM A351/A351M, developed for use in high-temperature, pressure-containing components such as furnace parts, heat exchanger manifolds, and petrochemical reformer tubes. It contains approximately 25% chromium and 12% nickel, providing a balance of oxidation resistance and mechanical strength at elevated temperatures. This alloy is commonly used in environments where exposure to thermal cycling, carburizing atmospheres, and high-temperature oxidation can degrade other materials. CH20’s robust performance under thermal stress makes it suitable for applications in the chemical processing, refining, and heat treatment industries.
