all the Irons of the rainbow

Our Materials

Rapid delivery of your casting needs is made possible through the use of 6 coreless induction melting furnaces. This enables Alloy Casting to pour moulds in an ever-expanding range of cast steel and related alloys in a size range up to 7,000 pounds gross.

A variety of alloys available: duplex stainless steels, austenitic stainless steels, martensitic stainless steels, nickel base steels, heat resistant stainless steels, precipitation hardened stainless steels, alloy steels, carbon steels, irons and many more

ASTM, ASME, AISI, SAE, UNS, and proprietory alloy standards are used to ensure the consistency of every alloy throughout the pouring process.

Thorough testing is an extremely important facet of the casting process. Alloy Casting uses their in-house Baird Vacuum Optical Emission Spectrometer with Nitrogen analyzer to confirm that every alloy composition meets exact specifications. Accurate records are electronically kept for tracebility and a single test coupon is inventoried in the unfortunate event that future validation maybe required.

In addition, our technical staff makes full use of their extensive knowledge and experience to develop new methods and improve current processes and quality levels.
